Decades of Experience in Staying Up-to-Date
Stuart A. Gregory has proven experience in successfully meeting the diverse needs of a wide range of clients. His decades of experience
specializing in construction in the southeastern United States has given him a critical understanding of how building envelopes function
in order to protect the interior elements. The demanding climates and weather systems found in southeastern United States, require specific
design construction conditions to prevent building systems’ failure.
ASTM E2128 -- Water Leakage and Building Walls
CMCG's comprehensive building envelope evaluation program is based on proven methodologies for testing water leakage through fenestrations,
walls and building systems. The humidity of the southeastern United States presents special problems for project teams and property owners.
National standards require regional expertise for proper implementation and CMCG has the experience and knowledge to put these standards to work.

Building Envelope Testing
Construction Management Consulting Group specializes in building envelope investigations related to water intrusion and air infiltration. We provide fenestration evaluation and analysis of water penetration pathways. Working with a team of professional partners, we provide state-certified expertise in determining how the performance of buildings envelopes are adversely affected by construction defects in products and/or their installation in the construction process.
Our decades of experience enable us to quickly and efficiently identify and document moisture problems and their causes in any type of building. We also provide comprehensive remediation procedures and recommendations for corrective action to remedy building envelope failures.
When legal action is necessary for property owners to recover damages, we work with their litigation team to ensure that property owners do not pay for the mistakes of others.
Construction Litigation
We have been or are currently involved in forty two different construction litigation cases to date.
These cases are representative of both residential and commercial construction projects. Plaintiffs and
Defendants have been equally represented. Construction Management Consulting Group, Inc. provides a comprehensive
scope of services to Clients and their Attorneys, specific to Construction Law issues. As consultants, we are able
to review the existing conditions and circumstances of a particular project and determine, from a Contractor’s
perspective, what issues are relevant to the case in question. By beginning with the expected end results in mind,
we investigate a project forensically, and identify procedural and administrative elements that contributed to or caused the issues in
question.
Because we are Contractors, we are acutely aware of the elements and aspects of the construction process that are consistently
wrought with substandard performance either in the physical production on the site or the administrative management in the front
office. These are the primary sources of problems that arise in a construction project that can lead to significant legal consequences.
The financial administration of construction projects follows a completely different process than virtually all other businesses.
The elements of payment applications, percentage of completion, retainage, change orders, time extensions, mechanic’s liens, and Bank
and Owner funding, all contribute to the uniqueness and complexity of the construction financial management process. Many Contractors
use this to their advantage during the course of the project as many situations provide opportunity for financial gain outside the specific
terms of the contract.
